Google's Pixelbook says the Chromebook Pixel isn't asleep—it's part of the category.

The Pixelbook, proclaimed Wednesday at Google's ironware event in San Francisco, is the third multiplication of Google's premium Chromebook Pixel. Up to now, the laptops lived separated from Google's other products, isolated in Chromium-plate OS. The Pixelbook is the first Chromebook that's equal closely to major parts of Google's ecosystem, such as Google Assistant and the Google Play Stack away. Pixelbook price, specs, and turn date

The Pixelbook goes on preorder in the Conjunctive States, Canada, and the United Kingdom via the Google Store starting October 4 and will ship October 31.
